Xytron™

Polymer type PPS
Xytronis high performance plastic based on PPS (polyphenylene sulphide).
Xytron offers extreme good chemical resistance, dimensional stability, intrinsically flame retardancy, high stiffness up to Glass Transition Point (90 °C), Continuous Use Temperature (CUT) of 240-260 °C and a melting point of 280 °C.

  • Coefficient of lin. thermal expansion similar to metals

  • Very good chemical resistance 
  • Very good hydrolysis resistance
  • Inherently flame retardant (UL 94 V-0 up to 5VA) 
  • LOI > 45 (GFMIN65) 
  • High purity of linear PPS : No or less leaching (Worldwide DW and Food-Approvals) for Water Mgmt., Hydrogen- Cells, AdBlue- Systems…
